The Atlantic Diabetes Council was formed in 2003, the Atlantic Diabetes Council's (ADC) purpose is to promote diabetes health education to physicians (internists, endocrinologists and GPs working with the diabetes population) and health care professionals; to advocate for improvements in government policy with regards to diabetes; and to increase research opportunities in Atlantic Canada.
